About Me

I am a self-taught photographer from Devon, England. My passion for photography began after purchasing a DSLR to take photos of my first new-born child. From taking photos of my young children, it became apparent that I enjoyed creating images that people enjoyed viewing. This, combined with visits to the coasts where I grew up, led me to starting seascape photography as a hobby in 2016.

Inspired by images from Brixham by Neil Burnell and David Hixon, I started to take the hobby more seriously in 2017 and soon found that I had an interest in fine-art photography. This interest has recently led me to focus more on mono or muted-colour photography of architecture and seascapes.

Considering myself a beginner, especially when I see so many amazing and inspiring images by others, I aim to continually learn and improve my photography whilst enjoying the locations it takes me to.
